Link2Read is a free web and Android application that allows users to send web articles to a simplified reading interface. This service does not require user accounts.

Information We Collect

Link2Read stores the following information:

• A randomly generated 4-character reader code
• One saved article URL associated with that code
• Basic server logs (such as IP address, user agent, and request timestamps) automatically generated by hosting infrastructure

The Android app stores the reader code locally on the device using standard Android storage mechanisms.

How Information Is Used

The reader code and saved URL are used solely to:

• Associate a user's saved article with their reader session
• Enable retrieval of the saved article

Server logs are used for:

• Basic debugging
• Abuse prevention
• System monitoring

No Personal Accounts

Link2Read does not require names, email addresses, passwords, or profile creation.

No Third-Party Advertising or Analytics

Link2Read does not use advertising networks.

Link2Read does not use third-party analytics SDKs in the Android app.

Data Retention

Saved article URLs remain stored until replaced by a new saved URL for the same reader code. Server logs may be retained according to hosting provider retention policies.

Data Sharing

Information is not sold or shared with third parties except as required by law.

Children's Privacy

Link2Read is not directed at children under 13.
